Prosser Hill Loop

Prosser Hill Loop (medium, loop, map, track).  Total length: 10.5 miles. Total elevation gain: 950 ft.

This is a very pleasant and varied loop, one of the nicest in the Truckee / Tahoe Donner region.  There is some elevation gain (950 ft), but it is so well distributed along the loop that the loop is pleasant and not strenuous.  There are two possible trailheads: one along Alder Creek Road at the intersection with Carpenter Road, and the other on Hw 89 North, at the turnout for the Donner Camp Picnic Area.  The second trailhead offers better parking.
